The Abaco Bison Lifter was designed for lifting and moving stone slabs with a wide range of different thicknesses. The Bison automatic models feature an automatic locking and unlocking system for clamp operation. The automatic option greatly improves efficiency and safety for operators. Bison lifters are capable of lifting slabs as thin as 5mm and up to 150mm thick. The clamping system is composed of three rollers designed to evenly distribute clamping force across the clamping plate. This system improves safety and also reduces risk to the workpiece. The Bison also includes a swivel shackle which allows the lifter to rotate easily for the convenience of the operator.
