Desmond Huntington type dressers consist of star shaped cutter heads paired with a rugged cast iron holder. The cutter heads and spacers are made of heat treated, high carbon steel. When a grinding wheel becomes glazed or misshapen, the cutter heads go to work efficiently sharpening and truing the wheel back to optimal working conditions.
